What are house call visits?

House call visits provide medical care in the comfort of your home for patients who have difficulty traveling to a traditional office setting.

Who is eligible for house call visits?

House call services are typically available to patients with limited mobility, chronic illness, or functional impairments that make leaving the home difficult.

What if I don’t meet standard eligibility criteria?

Patients who do not meet standard criteria may still qualify through an annual concierge fee program. Please call the office for details.

How is eligibility determined?

Eligibility is assessed through a brief telephone evaluation that reviews clinical and functional needs to ensure home-based care is appropriate.

How do I get started?

Contact the office to schedule a short phone evaluation to review eligibility and discuss available services.

Can labs or imaging be done in the home?

Yes. Lab work and limited imaging can be performed in the home through trusted mobile vendors when clinically appropriate.

Please note:Advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRIs cannot be done in the home and must be completed at an external imaging facility.

How is my privacy protected?

All care and documentation are HIPAA-compliant. Patient information is protected and shared only as permitted by law. When care coordination is needed, authorization forms may be requested to communicate with hospitals, facilities, or prior providers to ensure continuity of care.

Does insurance cover house call visits?

Coverage varies by insurance plan. Some plans cover home visits, while others may require a co-pay or have out-of-pocket costs. We can help verify coverage and review any expected expenses before your visit.

Can referrals be made for home health services?

Yes. Referrals for skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and other services can be ordered when clinically indicated.
